Christian Fleury was born a while back in Sorel, Quebec. It was while tripping on Mystic beach in BC that he realized he should be a photographer. So he moved to Toronto to learn the trade, worked in a dark room and moved again to Montreal to assist photographers.
Years later, Christian is living his dream of photographing and filming documentaries. His photographs have illustrated Time Magazine, Reader’s Digest, the Guardian and Canadian Geographics. He also works with banks, universities, engineering firms and whoever else has a good story to share.
His movie credits include DOP, co-director, director and producer. In 2020, his movie Three Seasons of Sarony travelled to festivals in Canada, USA and Europe. His most recent movie La Rivière is now touring and, admittedly is one of his proudest accomplishments.
On a more social side, Christian has been involved with CAPIC as student VP, council member and national president. He also teaches whenever he can. Finally, he is co-founder of l'Archipel, a group of seven artists sharing space, ideas, projects and wine.
